Why it matters
Builders and trades who hire lawfully and run their businesses with integrity shouldn't have to wonder whether that costs them the job. Idaho Built Right is developing a voluntary industry standard and trust mark that helps responsible Idaho builders stand out—and gives customers and industry partners a clearer way to recognize their commitment.

What we're building
Idaho Built Right is being developed around a firm foundation: lawful hiring, business integrity, and fair competition.
Our goal is to establish a voluntary trust mark that distinguishes Idaho businesses meeting those standards. We're inviting builders and trades to participate early, help refine how the program works, and take part in shaping a standard that can strengthen the industry for years to come.
Our three guiding principles define what Idaho Built Right stands for. We're building practical requirements around those commitments.
Builders, general contractors, and specialty trades will help refine the standard, identify practical challenges, and shape how businesses qualify.
Our next step is an initial pilot with interested Idaho businesses. The pilot will help us put the standard into practice, refine the process, and build toward a trust mark that businesses and customers can recognize with confidence.
From residential builders to specialty subcontractors, if you build in Idaho, this is for you.
Request Early Access
We're inviting Idaho builders and trades to request early access to the founding Idaho Built Right pilot.
Share a few details about your business. A member of our volunteer team will follow up to explain the initiative, answer your questions, and discuss opportunities to get involved.
